PROGRAMMAZIONE DEI CORSI DI INGLESE

Obiettivo del corso:
al termine di ciascun corso ogni allievo sarà in grado di capire ed usare espressioni familiari ricorrenti nella vita di tutti i giorni e riguardanti la famiglia, le persone conosciute e l'ambiente circostante; presentarsi e presentare altri; porre e rispondere a domande che riguardano situazioni personali, dove abita e le persone che conosce; interagire in modo semplice nella conversazione con altri, purché questi parlino lentamente ed in modo chiaro. Queste abilità minime devono essere possedute da tutti gli allievi indipendentemente dal livello del corso frequentato.
I corsi si articolano su tre livelli principali:
- Beginners
- Elementary
- Pre-intermediate-intermediate

Libro di testo consigliato:
Look ahead, Hopkins Potter, ed. Longman o un qualsiasi corso di lingua inglese purché di casa editrice britannica.

Beginners level
Funzioni linguistiche:
introducing, greeting, thanking, talking about places, buying things, asking prices, asking for personal information, jobs spelling, immediate surroundings, clothes, parts of the body, numbers, colours.
Grammatical items:
- understanding and using the present simple tense of to be and other common verbs such as go, show, point, come, sit down, stand up.
- Imperatives
- Nouns in singular and plural forms
- Adjectives
- Pronouns
- Demonstratives

Elementary level
Funzioni linguistiche:
asking what someone wants, asking about food, talking about prices, asking for something, describing what there is, describing places to live, saying you do not understand, describing family relationship, talking about jobs, dates, birthdays, describing people, telling the time, talking about present activities, possessions, animals, pets, talking about friends, dayly routines and activities.
Grammatical items:
- the simple present tense in questions, statements and negative
- the use of there is / are and has /have got
- question words who, what, where, why, how many
- possessives
- preposition of place
- present continuous
- some, any

Pre-intermediate - intermediate level
Funzioni linguistiche:
asking what someone wants, asking about food, talking about prices, asking for something, describing what there is, describing places to live, saying you do not understand, describing family relationship, talking about jobs, dates, birthdays, describing people, telling the time, talking about present activities, possessions, animals, pets, talking about friends, dayly routines and activities, give personal basic information about life and activities at work and during free time, give basic information about people and places including home town, talk about daily routine, giving opinions, talking about dates and places of birth.
Make a short presentation of a preparated topic (two minutes ) using objects or picture to illustrate,Talk about past events, talk about future plans, express like and dislikes, express simple comparisons, own holiday, shops, jobs, sports, hobbies, work
New grammatical items:
- present simple and present continuous
- formation of simple questions using question words as necessary
- preposition denoting movement
- the simple past tense of regular and common irregular verbs
- comparative and superlative of adjectives
- adverbs of manner and frequency.

Se il dialogo educativo lo consentirà si potrà adottare il 2° volume del testo Look ahead dal quale imparare a parlare di:
- leisure activities
- languages
- community education
- means of transport
- national costumes
- traffic laws
- video cameras
- food
- pets
L'attività linguistica più esercitata sarà lo speaking; lettura e scrittura saranno subordinate ed eventualmente prese in esame per brevi lettere o lettura di testi autentici.
Circa un quarto del tempo a disposizione sarà dedicato all'ascolto attivo di materiale autentico guidato dall'insegnante.
